Took cab down with ChunLeng. Went back to YTSS. Fried rice & omelet there SUX - $3! Missed the concert. Busy catching up with friends instead of teachers. Hair was wild, I was crazy, I love my hair. Ex-students & some teachers thought I committed suicide cos' Poh Loong [Chinese name = Baolong] flew off 26 floors without wings. Laughed hysterically seeing people pointing at me wondering why I am still alive. Waited for dear with Ilhammi & Selene for quite a while. Luckily they were patient. Great lunch at SunPlaza MOS burger with lots of fun & laughter. Pleasant surprise for dear to end the whole afternoon. =) Did not visit NBPS. Lost Mrs Kheng's no. Created a blog for us in the morning. Supposed to be meant for the surprise at the end of the month. Can't keep surprises a secret. Told her. Clubbed at Zouk with Kahhong & his colleagues. Met TYY and his friend Jialing. Met Alven & his gay friend. Met Yue Wei who went "fuck" when he say me. He said,"You're the last person I'll expect to see here!" Lol! He's cool as usual. Drank quite a bit. Met pretty girl who danced with me, grabbed my arms, hinted me to follow her. Didn't of course. TYY told me "Wasted la!" Shereens gonna tie me down for sure now! Reach home, slept from 5.30-6.30am. Went down to Woodlands to accompany dear to school. Lovely bus ride. Gave her chocolates from Cocoa Trees. Went home to sleep from 10-11am. Lunch at Sakae Sushi @ Woodlands with dear. Pretty "zombified" after sending her home. Did some last minute shopping for stationeries & materials to prepare for my show later at night. Went home, prepared, rehearsed, packed. Kahhong came at 6.30 to help me out. Took off to Furama RiverFront in a cab. Set up, got ready in the VIP room, had a little buffet of malay food. SHOW TIME! Well, it wasn't a very well done show for me as it wasn't up to my expectations. Made a couple of mistakes. Learnt a lot. Great experience performing in a ballroom stage! Watched Bourne Ultimatum with Kahhong & Melvin! Enjoyable night~ Exams were HORRENDOUS! That's it. - Forgot to bring my music - So nervous, hands trembling - Loads of flashes - Messy sleights - Constant mental blocks How to get into finals?! Well, it certainly is a good experience for my 1st competition participation! =) Here's my table settings.. I love it!  By the way, the theme of my act was a "Magician's Birthday", thus the many gift boxes~Act includes vanish and appearance of a magic wand, a short thimble vanish, reappearance, colour change and transformation to a silk which leads to a glass of bubble solution production. This leads to a bubble routine where bubbles are blown and change to 2 crystal balls. Everything ends with a "The End For Now" and "You May Clap Now" banner flowing out of a gift box. Guess what! I lost my wallet and found it back in Ulu Pandan CC's main office! Phew~ Thanks to the good Samaritan who returned my wallet! Thanks Nick for panicking for me too! =) Well, that's all for now! Back to the horrible papers on Monday! Met Kenneth in the afternoon to buy my gift boxes in preparation for this Saturday's competition.. $30 in exchange fore cardboard and paper! I think it's all worth it since the whole setup looks pretty sweet~ Just short of some ribbons and then it'll look fantastic! I'm confident of my act now! 3 days of heavy brainstorming..! Thanks Imran and Aaron for coming up with brilliant ideas! Without you guys, this act would not have been possible! Guess what, Kenneth & I ended up playing with balloons at Mac and he was happily fooling around with his Dick's head! LOL~ I prepared this bunch of balloon flowers tied with a ribbon for Shereen too! Surprise Surprise! You were so touched! =P .jpg) New Idea - Thanks Kenneth for the Ribbon IdeaMet Shereen in the evening for basketball with her, her brother, and my "broken" leg.. Basketball wasn't so fun but I just love the lucky star which you made! So small... But it's the thought that counts =)  Lovely, Isn't it?I want to get through my semester, thus, studies' No.1 priority now. Competition - Just do my best, doesn't matter if I cannot qualify for the finals. I'm there to have fun! Srini's gone! I've realised how much I'm missing him now that he has flown to the States for good. BUDDY for 10 years and will always be BUDDIES! I can remember those days from Mrs Singh, to Mrs Raj, to Mrs Mano.. Plus all the times we went talking crap, having fun, safra days.. I'm missing all that right now.. Like what many say - people always learn to to treasure things more when they lose it.. See you soon Srini! Bring some blondes back! =X Walk-around magic at the cocktail for PSA marine pilots DnD was fun! Kenneth made balloons while I performed magic.. Great experience performing for adults, most enjoyed themselves except for a few who just don't appreciate watching magic.. It's OK! Overall, managed to pace myself to cover 95% of the crowd in the 1 hour with my coins, cards, dingdong, rings. Prepared a fastfood betting game which seemed to work really well too! Some funny incidents that happened inculded a women telling me 4-5 times to stop shaking my hands! Haha! I wasn't nervous at all, I guess it's just the adrenaline rushing while I'm doing my card routines and the spongeball routine with the "black thread on top of the ball". One guy came to me in the end while I was performing and exclaimed, "If you can really perform magic, make my 4 numbers win tonight's lucky draw!" Of course, he got me speechless for a while and the guests laughed. Throughout my performance for the group, it was pretty obvious that he just didn't like magic & me at all! It's alright, part & parcel of performing magic! =) Oh! There was also this pretty looking girl - Madeline - dressed in angel suit going around playing dice games with the guests! I believe she must be surprised when I approached her with Kenneth.. Guess what, I took her dice and transformed it to a coin, and back to the dice! Lol~ She gasped for a second. Magic ended with an ice cold tiger beer and chocolate fondue before heading back to the dressing room. Woo~ Surprise Surprise! We actually got to meet a local Singaporean Bapok in the changing room too! I went WOW knowing how friendly he/she was, and also how confident he/she was being a Bapok! SALUTE! Everything ended with a mistake in the payment for the show.. I take it as my mistake and a learning experience too.. =) Not a very pleasant ending but well, every event's a new experience!  Kenneth & IHappy cos' I GOT A NEW HAIRCUT AGAIN!!! And this time, I'm almost "botak"! Got it done by Alex @ Lush Hair Creations, Orchard Emerald Lvl3.. I gotto say he's a creative dude! Love my hair now! Though I feel it's a little wild for my character.. But well, only for this period! =)  Side - Naresh told me I look like I've just gotten scratched by Wolverine! Lol! Towards the Back - I Love This PartThanks Alex! Definitely felt better compared to the previous hairstyle~ Thanks Kenneth for waiting patiently for me for that hour.. I guess you loved that hair too! Let's head down there for a haircut in 3 weeks time! Sad cos' the first thing Srini said when he saw me was, "Wah! You hair sucked! I tell you it sucked!" I know he prefers crew cut. Naresh loved it though.. =) Reached home, Mum gasped! Dad's face turned black.. Both of them were extremely mad and unhappy with my new hairstyle.. I didn't expect mum to be so unhappy, she said,"OMG! I tell you, you looked like an ex-convict who just came out from prison! Horrible!" And she said it till as if it's so bad =( Dad's never happy with my hair ever since I entered poly. He said angrily, "The more you cut the more horrible it gets!" & both of them agreed with each other.. =( Went straight to bed last night, got no mood to do anything. Before I slept I though to myself, "It's not as if I would change & turn into a gangster or a convict just because my hair changed and looks wilder than normal.." I still love my hair though.. =) SATURDAY Stoned at home in the day. Evening, took a cab to get my coat and a cab to bus interchange. Took bus to Orchard to my hairdresser. Salon CLOSED! Took cab, rushed to Marina Square to meet Sean & Bowen. Jaspas, Ning and Valarie was there for a while - Nice people. Clubbing plan cancelled due to Sean's girlfriend problem in the last minute. Bowen felt very tired, Sean got no mood. Went straight home, wasted trip out, wasted money rushing in cab. Slept at 2am. SUNDAY Dad was sick. Woke me up at 4am to help him with work - No choice. Very tiring as usual. Felt worse with the lack of sleep. Came back at 3pm. REPORT NOT DONE! But off to sleep first now.. Anyway, Kenneth is a balloon talent!
