This is one interesting insect! The human botfly attacks humans! It deposits its eggs in hosts that would target humans such as mosquitoes. The eggs are deposited onto human skin and hatch upon contact due to the induction by the human body heat. The larvae grows by feeding on living tissues and will detach upon maturation.
